Pupilage

We recruit between 6-8 pupils every year, from Kenyan universities, as well as foreign universities. Applications (by covering letter and CV), should be sent by the end of July of every year to Kiragu Kimani (kkoffice@hhm.co.ke).

However, due to the large number of applications that we get, potential pupils are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

Our pupilage programme runs for one year and entails comprehensive training in both departments of the firm for equal periods.  The pupil is supervised by a partner or a senior advocate, and is encouraged to obtain “hands on” legal experience to prepare him or her for becoming an advocate. 

We also conduct in house training of advocates and pupils.
