Adil Khawaja

Adil Khawaja, born Kenya 1971; LL.B. (Sheffield); admitted 1995 Kenya ; Member: Law Society of Kenya ; Certified Public Secretary.

Adil joined Hamilton Harrison & Mathews in 1995 as a Legal Assistant and is now a partner of the firm.  Adil has extensive experience in commercial litigation and arbitration and in various aspects of banking law, state corporations, insurance law and commercial law.

Since 2005, Adil has joined the Commercial and Conveyancing Department of the firm to handle large scale conveyancing and commercial matters as well as environmental law matters.  He acts for several large companies and state corporations.

He has recently advised Telkom Kenya Limited in a very complex arbitration regarding inter connections agreements with Kencell Communications Limited.  Recently, Adil has advised on several environmental law tribunal matters, and is considered as a leading expert in environmental law in Kenya.
