Michi Kirimi

Michi joined Hamilton Harrison & Mathews in 2001 as a Legal Assistant and is now a partner in the litigation department of the firm.

She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and is involved with the committee of the Society dealing with Alternative Dispute Resolution.

She has significant experience in commercial litigation and arbitration and in various aspects of banking law, insurance law, employment law and commercial law. She has been involved in big cases dealing with the Kenyan Public Procurement Law, as well as the Public Administrative Law. Michi has also has been consulted by various clients on the Employment Act of Kenya (2007) which repealed the old Employment Act and the related pieces of legislation that were enacted with it.
